TEAHANDS are very much looking forward to serving the local community, we also stock everything for making a good brew for travelers on the move. There are tea leaves, teaware, and coffee beans for visitors from far to take home and we are always learning and updating our offering as we settle into our new shop — no two days are the same.

All about True Tea your greens, whites, yellows, oolongs, blacks and pu'er leaves.
My name is Andre and my passion is Hong Cha, known as whole leaf black tea outside China. Though it translates to red tea from its original Chinese source. I complement this with black filter coffee in the morning; my connection to Berlin where I am originally from.
There is a huge variety of tea, and tisane grown in every part of the world. We source our tea seasonally and selectively to serve and educate intrepid teaheads all around the Mendip area. Herbal teas; green, yellow, white, black, oolong and pu'er teas are all on display. They are competing with our freshly roasted coffee beans, ground to your liking.
Our seasonal coffee selection keeps coffee drinking interesting and the coffee beans fresh. We offer coffee beans from artisan coffee roasters as well as our own Glastonbury filter coffee blend for a kicking, smooth morning brew and that is true.
Artisan brews are not only refreshments but a way of taking time out, time to reflect, time to become mindful of the moment. Life is too short and precious for rushing it. Have you tried hot cocoa brews, used in ceremonies for thousands of years? Or the cacao seed husk which when brewed like tea tastes surprisingly similar to coffee?
In the same way as people meet up for tea or coffee, friends often gather and drink yerba mate in Paraguay, Argentina, Southern Brazil, and Uruguay. In warm weather the hot water is sometimes replaced by lemonade. Paraguayans typically drink yerba mate with cold water during warm days and hot water in the morning or on colder days.
We will never have a comprehensive selection of artisan brews, we are simply too small a trader for that but we do offer a personal selection of fine ingredients for refreshing, calming or stimulating brews to be enjoyed on spring, summer, autumn and cosy winter days.
Buying, selling, swapping, sharing, tasting and talking a lot about tea.
